Is the structure of our church or network hindering a new Kingdom anointing from being birthed? It will enable us to recognize our time of visitation, change our mind-set and approach, and walk by faith in the new thing that God is doing. Chapters 8 and 9, “The Process of Transition, Parts 1 and 2,” relate to the means and the method that the Lord uses in bringing lasting change and birthing new things. In transition, the Lord gives us a road map to faith. This chapter details the journey of closure, conversion, and new commissioning.

God Obeys His Own Word When the Lord says, “new,” He means exactly that: new! When He declares an end to one thing and the beginning of a new order, He is deadly serious. To reinforce the concept, He orders His people to not be concerned or even think about the old thing ever again because He wants their attention to be on what He will do next! “I am doing a new thing! ” (see Is. 43:19) Here we have a proclamation and question joined together, signifying intent. ” The implication is that we must let go of the old in order to even see the new.

Instead, we observe a Church corpulent with truth but impractical in revelation. We see an organization claiming biblical structure but manifesting a hierarchical world system of government. Leaders are bent on titles, status, and position; ignoring servanthood, sacrifice, example, and stewardship. We have churches where we enjoy worship but have not learned corporately how to minister to the Lord…assemblies where we exalt the power of God but do little to attract His presence. All around us are camps where we revere what God has said but have no clue as to what He is saying today.
